While not quite a server first hard mode, again because of our rush to Vezax last week, but still worthy of a mention, here is our kill of XT-002 Deconstructor for the achievement Heartbreaker.

Looked like a DPS race at first but in the end turned out to be 'stay alive yourself and don't kill people' - like many of the Ulduar hard modes.

Another day, another server first!


Truth be told we should have killed Flame Leviathan hard mode a couple of weeks ago but we had our sights on General Vazax.

So after just over an hour of tries including buggy pyrites the boss went down and with that he dropped:

...Yes the Spaniard took all the loot

Balancians ... bring you a new server first: General Vezax - Hardmode
the way it gets done is you basically do NOT kill any of the saronite vapors until 8 of them gather which will result into summoning: Saronite Animus.
And the hard mode is basically you killing it and then killing the General Vezax himself: General Vezax


There you go Lan-man, a lovely smell in the morning: a Saronite! in addition to your banhammer

All I can say about this fight. The raid performance has to be PERFECT from all aspects, losing 1 person in the middle of the fight makes it almost impossible to be accomplished - WIPE!

Once you see a dead person in the raid, you could hear the *sigh* coming out - It went down before mid-night I personally was about to log due to the time zone differences, but Cless has said it: "Stay for this, ITS THE KILL!" - Indeed it was

The guild had lots of tries and attempts on the boss, but the dedication has no limit when we're talking about Balance; Good job everyone!
