*This was killed on the 7/12/2011 I'm just still getting my head around having to do things like news posts myself!*

Well there isn't that much to say about this boss, the servers came up and with the help of one or two former raiders we were able to get our raid going quite quickly and within half a dozen pulls it was dead!

This fight had the potential to be quite intense healing wise if they had put in a mechanic to leash the two bosses together and given the tuning of the rest of the instance on 25 man I'm surprised they didn't! Given this it then just boils down to splitting your raid down the middle and doing the fight in 2 small groups.

Still it was good to get going and hopefully not too long after i post this, you should all see a post for the Warlord and onwards into the rest of Dragon Soul.

Well, its been a long summer farming Firelands after our successes in T12 and I think everyone was ready and waiting for something new.

We took our time clearing the new raid in its various incarnations making sure we got everything done we wanted to at our own pace given normal modes aren't really where the race starts but merely a preparation exercise. But overall its been a good first week, with some fun new encounters plenty of rogues having to remember where they put their pickpocket button and lots of gear and epic gem farming!

And now the last few days of the week will be spent fixing up new gear and getting ready for the real fun on Wednesday when we will start the race for Deathwing server first!

Ragnaros Heroic 25


Following on from our first kill of heroic Ragnaros, here is our 25 man version of the kill. It certainly has felt like being on the edge of dying this last week, after two weeks of getting back into 25 man raiding from the server first, but at least we hooked everything together tonight

The week before, we had a 15% try which did feel like it was going down but ultimately it took us a few more days but at least its all over with. I guess we won't be leaving Firelands anytime soon though due to that cursed legendary staff for the next tier
