Challenge Conqueror Gold

Before the raiding started some of our members decided to try and obtain the Realm First for gold in all of the challenge mode dungeons and here is the screenshot and achievement to show they did it

Well done to them, it did take quite a few wipes in places including plenty of unhappiness when none of the five could manage to successfully throw the dog food in Scarlet Halls or when taking invisibility potions in ghostwolf and thereby pulling the rest of the instance...

Anyway, well done to those involved and those that helped

Will of the Emperor

As it was only the start of normal modes this week we did not rush through and instead carried out two raids to try and maximise loot for the forthcoming heroics. Overall though, the instance was pretty easy, with most of the mechanics being known from beta testing.

The hardest boss was certainly Elegon although a large part of that encounter is down to coordination. Both Elegon and Will of the Emperor are likely be pretty brutal on heroic but hopefully it wont be too long until we can post some screen shots of those boss-kills as well

Sha of Anger

Salyis's Warband

As heroic raids do not open for the next couple of weeks we thought we would get the realm firsts for the new outdoor bosses, Salyis's Warband and Sha of Anger.

Having tested these on the beta abeit with better gear, both were still very easy. It was the first time we have had a 40 man Balance raid for a long time when we was doing Sha of Anger but it is a shame Blizzard removed the realm first server message for these bosses but there you go.

Hopefully many more things to post as the heroics open up in the next few weeks.
