A somewhat later post than it should have ever been, this kill was made possible thanks to a few old member's returning and some determination from our other raiders.

While this is therefore a celebration of defeating Arthas, the victory is somewhat bitter as we really should have killed the Lich King sooner based on our earlier Icecrown Citadel progress. That said, being part of a guild that has lasted for over five years really shows when you can bring back veterans when you need the help, so thanks to those who came back early instead of waiting until Cataclysm

Looking to the future, we will start to prepare for Ruby Sanctum and build the guild roster up for Cataclysm, but for now, last post till Halion is down!

Arthas dropped the following loot for those interested:

[Archus, Greatstaff of Antonidas] - Neeri
[Havoc's Call, Blade of Lordaeron Kings] - Shago

Ooops! Looks like we missed our own birthday - it was 16 days ago!

However, today is the day we celebrate our presence on the interwebs. It's been exactly 5 years since Balance appeared online. Way back in 2005, one of our original members - Wise - took on the role as webmaster and gave us an online home. Good work mate!

That very first version of our homepage was only a simple forum with no logo, no customized skin nor any dkp. Since that day a lot has happened, both in terms of site improvements and level of raiding, but that is another story

Happy 5th Birthday Balancians!

Somewhat later than we would have liked to have completed the Achievement "Glory Of The Icecrown Raider (25 Player)" not found. but here it is. It would have been nice to have completed it previous to this week but getting tries on the Lich King on Heroic did limit the amount of time we wanted to spend on it.

Congratulations to all how got their mounts after completing Achievement "All You Can Eat (25 Player)" not found. on Sindragosa and as you can see from the picture we have a few left to finish for people in the coming weeks
