Not too much to brag about with this kill as it was just as easy on the PTR. Still server first for us though

Loot from the beasts included:

[Band of the Violent Temperment] - Excal
[Trophy of the Crusade] - Joanna
[Crystal Plated Vanguard] - Nezuli
[Belt of the Ice Burrower] - Voqq

Until next week then...

Algalon, the Observer

Balance finally got around to killing Algalon! We could say it was a few weeks later than we could have done it but thats summer time for you. It certainly feels nice to get the realm first: Celestial Defender title.

The week before we managed to wipe on less than 1% before Algalon goes friendly because the majority of the raid ran inside the black holes which was....unfortunate

In anycase the items that dropped today were:

[Bulwark of Algalon] - Rageaholic
[Comet's Trail] - Toshiro
[Planewalker Treads] - Voqq
[Reply-Code Alpha] - Bombistick

Congratulations to all in the guild not just the raid group that killed Algalon but to the rest of our members who have helped and been part of the rest of Ulduar. I should also say that as we used a melee heavy set-up out casters had to take a hit on this one, so thank you to all of those as well.

The Twin Valkyrs

With the PTR testing for the Argent Colosium in patch 3.2 just started we thought we should go test the new bosses.

After killing the Twin Valkyrs on 10 man (thanks Blizzard for not letting anyone log on who did not have a Battle.net account ), the fight in the 25 man version is rediculously easy. Basically it involves two groups, one with the light debuff and the other with the dark, collecting / absorbing light or dark matter depending on which side your on with a swap for everyone at some points.

All I can say is I hope they add some more abilities for the hard mode version of this encounter.
