When they actually finish Inscription in beta. At the moment it has way too many gaps and mistakes in it to even consider doing a decent guide.
For example, every single non druid glyph, regardless of what kind of glyph, requires the following materials:

1 x Moonglow Ink
1 x Mageroyal
1 x Light Parchment
1 x Common Parchment
1 x Heavy Parchment
1 x Resilient Parchment

These are just place holder reagents, until they actually sort them out. So it's easy to go from 50 to 450 by farming a mass of mageroyal. So it's fairly pointless me trying to do a guide until those are sorted.

There is also an issue between 240 and 250. You need an incredible amount of celestial ink to get to 250, with Glyph of Rip the only way to get there and it requires 3 inks per glyph and goes yellow at 240.

I've suggested that they lower the requirement for shimmering ink to 240, instead of 250 to allow a much smoother and more realistic levelling path.

this guy writes most excellent guides, so if he says it's too early to be sure, he is right.

My advise would be to just farm herbs herbs herbs.
herbs are dropped into categories:

* Inscription 1: Bloodthistle, Earthroot, , Mageroyal, Peacebloom, Silverleaf.
* Inscription 25: Briarthorn, Bruiseweed, Strangelkelp, Swiftthistle.
* Inscription 75: Grave Moss, Kingsblood, Liferoot, Wild Steelbloom.
* Inscription 125: Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, Khadgar's Whisker, Wintersbite.
* Inscription 175: Arthas' Tears, Blindweed, Firebloom, Ghost Mushroom, Gromsblood, Purple Lotus, Sungrass.
* Inscription 225: Dreamfoil, Golden Sansam, Icecap, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom.
* Inscription 275: Ancient Lichen, Dreaming Glory, Felweed, Flame Cap, Mana Thistle, Netherbloom, Nightmare Vine, Ragveil, Terocone (All Outland herbs).
* Inscription 325: Adder's Tongue, Constrictor Grass, Goldclover, Icethorn, Lichbloom, Talandra's Rose, Tiger Lily (All Northrend Herbs).
* Cannot be Milled: Black Lotus, Deadnettle, Fel Blossom, Fel Lotus, Fire Leaf, Fire Seed, Glowcap, Netherdust Pollen, Nightmare Seed, Unidentified Plant Parts, Wildvine.


you drop 5 herbs of 1 sort into the grinder and you get a few pigments out of it from which you can do inks (either directly or with added additional reagents, but the big bulk of reagents you need will be herbs.
I am not sure, if it must be 5 of the same sort, or just 5 different of the same category, for example only 5 netherbloom but 3 netherbloom + 2 nightmare vine won't.

my advise would be here: buy the cheapest herb of a category, shitloads of them, because most likely the price will rise astronomically as soon as the patch arrives or soon before, since all people who will reroll it (mainly a lot of disappointed jewelcrafters as far as I can say ) will directly storm the auctionhouse and check for cheap herbs.
I am sure if you buy a lot of stuff now and store it on a mule, you won't do anything wrong, since you could just sell the leftovers again afterwards.
