any one in the guild going to the Gathering2006 (TG06) this year??

fakts:

Location: norway, hamar , vikingskipet

max ppl: ca 5000

i know that I and Angemaro is going atleast.. hope to see some other balanciansthere ..

Gathering ? Dreamhack?
what are u talking about? i need translation pls

is this some kind of huge lan parties were u have to buy tickets to join or what?

Well didn´t read about the gathering all though I first thought it to be a like a competition in Magic - The Gathering. Dreamhack is however a huge Lan "party" where you havce to buy yourself a spot, prices I don´t know. Ask some of the Balancians who were there. Dethur, Gryan, Paigey I think.

As far as my friends keep telling The Gathering (which is a LAN party in Hamar in a great hall) is one of the greatest and biggest Lan gathering in the world. Don't know about that, but it is still among the biggest ones.

maybe , but dreamhack is the absolut biggest in the world and its getting bigger every year i think

Yes the gathering is a huge lan party ..

very simular to dream hack ...

and its the 2 or 3 largest LAN party in the world ..

Dreamhack is the biggest LAN-party.. The Gathering is nr 2..
All though some freakin chineses or japaneses or what it was have the record for beeing the most on one LAN.

I won't go to The Gathering.. To far to drive from my place + a lot of Norweigians = Bad..

A Lan-party... hmmm that's a party with me (gief booze and beer) :wink:

Dreamhack and The Gathering are just examples of places where ppl worship the mighty Lan.
