Realm First: The Twilight Destroyer

[Azzael]

This boss kill brings to the end the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion for us as we await the new content that will come with Cataclysm. All in all, I would say WotLK was a decent expansion, although the Burning Crusade's instance structure was in my mind superior and as were a lot of the encounters / instances. That said I did enjoy Ulduar the most this time around and I think that is a view many would share.

Having played some of the Alpha / Beta so far though and read about it like many have, it does look as if it is shaping up to be another good expansion and the prospect of many 'Sunwell type' 6 boss raid instances is certainly more appealing, as long as they take some time to clear unlike Icecrown Citadel raiding now which is only one day really.

Halion herself took us a little longer than we had hoped, we probably could have worked on the learning curve somewhat faster, although then the World Cup and general raiding fatigue hitting didn't help too much either! I am pleased though that the guild has lasted another expansion - it is after all one of the very few guild's in the world left that can say that they have been here for the entirety of WoW, right back to the beginning.

To all those players who have been with us, past and present during WotLK, I say thank you, even if there was some drama along the way! This will be the last post here for awhile, unless any new content is released, so until then or the next expansion, bai bai

Just to finish this, Halion dropped the following loot:

[Signet of Twilight] - Bombistick
[Phaseshifter's Bracers] - Vexo
[Sharpened Twilight Scale] - Xerofour
