Aion: Tower Of Eternity

What people are actually forgetting is that WoW isn't as original as everyone thinks... Sure they made it more user friendly then older MMOs, but Blizz also did their share of ripping off aswell when creating WoW.

I tho we would get beta keys to give away to friends from playing all of the Closed Betas. But seems not...

About the gear and weapons, it's not really hard, only abit of time consuming. But yes, you lose abyss points when you die in PvP, and you gain when you kill, so if you die more than you kill, it's hard gaining PvP gear.

About PvE gear, a good legion and I guess that should be fixed :p Maybe Balance should go all wide and make a Aion Legion aswell^^ If there is any balancians changing to Aion that is :p

EDIT: And Aion is far from a WoW rip-off, trust me. Alot of different stuff in the game... You simply see the different between Korea/Chinese games and Canadian/US games.

Lmao, its so much like WoW its unreal. But i'll admit its great fun, and something a bit different once in awhile doesnt hurt.

The Profession system is far more different than WoW.
The Gathering system is far more different than WoW.
The Gemming and enchant system is far more different than WoW.
The leveling is far more different aswell!
Legion system is is far more different aswell.
There is no talents, instead there is Stigmas, far more different.

Now to describe all this:

Proffessions is far more different since it takes much more time to level, is much more expensive and you can actually fail with the stuff you do aswell as making a better item than you first wanted to create. You don't need a Elixir master to make a better food for example.

Aion Gathering is far more different. You can pick each item 3 times, and you can fail. You don't need to have Mining to pick minerals, you don't need to have Herbing to pick Herbs. It's one for all, called Extracting. As said, alot different.

Gems and Enchants can Fail aswell as there is gear with 5-7 Gem slots, in Aion called, Manastone slots. You can complete 3 slots, but fail on the 4th. That doesn't only mean you lose the 4th one, you lose ALL the currently equipped ones! As said, far more different. It's also different because everyone can 'disenchant' gear to get the manastones. You just need to buy the tools from a vendor. There is no skill, instead there is tools, also far more different than WoW.

The Leveling is as said far more different. Because you can't just keep on soloing quests to max level (lvl 50). When you hit 25 you kinda need to start grouping. Either with group quests and instances or with the PvP.
It doesn't go as fast as WoW either because 40-50 takes really long. It's said 45-50 takes same amount of time 40-60 did pre-tbc.

Legion is not at all the same as WoW Guilds. The Legion system got ranks. Each rank have different "rewards". Each rank gives you the possibilty to invite more members aswell as make your guild higher up in the ranks aswell as changing few other stuff.

The stiga system is aswell far more different than WoW talents. You have slots for basic and advanced stigmas. All the stigmas is new skills which you can learn your character. You might call it "glyphs", but still it's far more different. There is no stigmas having the power of talents/glyphs, meaning changing current skills to something else. Instead each stigma gives you a new spell. You need to perfectly combine your class stigmas to spec different specs. You can make alot of combinations and everyone would be useful. In WoW, there is usually 3-6 worthy talent specs only (correct me if I'm wrong).

There is more stuff that is different from WoW. But this was the ones I could come up with in my head for now. Aswell as above ones is the ones with the most difference in my opinion.

The crafting system is very rewarding indeed.

Leveling it only requires kinah (the gold ingame) and the mats that are gathered are used in crafting the required items themselves.
