Loatheb & Gothik down, alliance first!

After alot of careful planning, our two banes of misery, the gruesome twosome, Loatheb & Gothik were taken down, both alliance first by Balance.
We started the raid with setting up several groups whose sole purpose was to clear Dire Maul north, and aquire the tribute buffs. Next we headed to Yojamba isles where we had a player stashed with the heart of hakkar, when we reached Eastern Plaguelands the buffs were starting to run out for some people so we made haste.
Loatheb went down quite easely on the first try, most likely do to the massive amount of buffs the raid had, and a staggering 15.000 hitpoints on our maintank.

Loots were the following:
Desecrated Legguards - Sapphire 1000
Desecrated Legplates - Jernsaxe MT prio
Band of unnatural forces - Limpinho 1950




Gothik who is a bit more difficult then Loatheb, was expected to cockblock us for another whole night, but nay, fear not, was taken down by Balance on a perfect first try, and I'd like to think that the perfect coordination by our two raidleaders on each side played a big part in that.

As seen below, the fight is quite complex.

Gothik will come down 4min30secs after engaging the encounter, he has around 350k hitpoints, focus on him once he teleported down.
Shadowbolt: Gothik chaincasts shadowbolt on randoms single target from to 2250 to 2750 dmg. So keep your dpsers up in phase 2.
Harvest Soul: All stats reduced by 10%, it cant be dispelled and can stack up to 20 times, therefore you have to kill Gothik fast.

Whenever you kill a mob in the caster side (living side), 1-2 mobs will spawn in the melee side (undead side). Unrelenting Trainee spawns a Spectral Trainee, Unrelenting Deathknight spawns a Spectral Deathknight, Unrelenting Rider spawns a Spectral Rider and a Spectral Horse.

Unrelenting Trainee:
They have approximatively 2500 hitpoints.
Basic melee attack: It deals from 250 to 500 dmg per hit.
Eagle Claw: Inflicts Physical damage to an enemy every 3 sec. for 15 sec.
Knockdown: Short knockdown/stun.

Unrelenting Deathknight:
Basic melee attack:Average 700-900 per hit.
Intercept: 20-40dmg and stuns you for 3 seconds.
Shadow Mark: Melee attack which hits for about 1000 on the tank. Shadow Mark lasts for 15 seconds and allows you to be hit by the Deathriders Shadow Bolt Volley.

Unrelenting Rider:
Basic melee attack: Approx 1500 per hit.
Unholy Aura: Automatically inflicting 400 Shadow damage every 2 sec. to nearby enemies. It lasts until Unrelenting Rider is killed.
Shadow Bolt Volley: This attack/spell hits people afflicted by Shadow Mark for 3200 shadow damage.

Spectral Trainee:
They have about same hp than Unrelenting Trainees.
Arcane Explosion: It hits for 500 dmg (PBAoE spell with 30 yards range).

Spectral Deathknight:
Basic melee attack: Approx 1500 per hit.
Sunder Armor: Hacks at an enemy's armor, reducing it by 1000 per Sunder Armor. Can be applied up to 5 times. Lasts 20 sec. So make sure your warrior dont have much sunders on them when they are about to tank Spectral Horses.
Cleave: Inflicts 2000-2500 Physical damage to an enemy and its nearest allies. Therefore make sure to not pack 2 Deathknights together, otherwise you will lose some melee dps from double cleave.

Spectral Rider:
Basic melee attack: Approx 1500 per hit.
Lifedrain: This attack hits a single target damage him (500-600 per tick) and converts this dmg into hitpoints to heal Spectral Rider.

Spectral Horse:

Basic melee attack: Approx 2000 per hit.
Stomp: PBAoE physical attack inflicting light dmg (like 300) and reducing enemies movement speed by 60% for 10 sec.

Loots were the following:
Sadist's Collar = Guerreira 600
Desecrated Sandals = Xardaz 750

Gothik the Harvester: Foolishly you have sought your own demise. Brazenly you have disregarded powers beyond your understanding. You have fought hard to invade the realm of the harvester. Now there is only one way out - to walk the lonely path of the damned.
