So anybody gonna play it ?

Pre-ordered it yesterday and all ready downloaded the EU client so just waiting for it to happen.

Chaos Marauder here I come !

P.S. Praying that EA won't fuck it up

P.P.S Arabs peeps in the lan are running on wooden boxs bound togather by duct tape for PCs. AKA 7300gs Video cards.... so it's a general question to the GB community

Played the early beta and I didnt find it fun, though it surly been improved since then. I wont try it because I will prolly think the same about it as AoC.

For those interested you can get a free open beta key for warhammer online from www.fileplay.net in which you are only required to register at there site.

Open beta will start at 7th of sept & is to stress test the servers from what I can understand before pre-launch of the game.

Is it basically just a clone of Everquest/Wow though? The screenshots make it look like wow but with the lighting effects turned off

I hope they at least make the combat system different / better or there isn't much reason to play this instead of wow. Sounds like its gonna be Age of Conan all over again, flavour of the month, then forgotten.

If you ever played Dark Age Of Camlot then it's gonna be nearly the same concept. In other words, Massive PVP (A lot bigger then AV) over zones where your final objective is to completely burn your enemies city to the ground.

Seems pretty balanced PvP wise too seeing that there's no OPed shit classes so far (No CD Abusing rogues at least  ).

Rolling as destruction player = Automatic Queues.

Dropped the toon after getting rank 17 & rerolled to a dwarf engineer.. no queues what so ever now

Call it beauty syndrome... everybody wants to be cool.

are you able to level without spending your life in front of the pc?

will play if I can be casual
Gear and spec don't put you on top of the meter unless everyone is playing perfectly. Effort puts you on top. Play to the strengths of your gear and spec, know your tank, know your situation.

Life in front of the PC ? If it means 2 hours a day ? Yes.

Barley 1 day 12 hours played & I am gonna ding 17 pretty soon.

A hint thought.. even if the destruction are actually pawning the game with numbers they have higher queues + longer waiting time for battlegrounds so it's best to roll order on a healthy server.
